Dr Rosalind Duhs is an accreditor and consultant with Advance HE in the UK. She advises universities, especially research-intensive universities, on the enhancement of teaching and learning through the professional development of academic staff. She has worked with universities in the UK, Sweden, Norway, Germany, and Italy as well as Australia. She also advises University College London (UCL) on educational development.
Rosalind helped to set up the first professional development unit at Stockholm University, and was founding Director of the University College London (UCL) Arena Higher Education Academy accredited professional recognition scheme.
Her research area is the development of education at universities; her PhD thesis was a comparative study of early career academic staff learning to teach in research-intensive environments in Sweden and England. She recently completed a major research-based report on educational development for a Russell Group institution in the UK.
