Dr. Ahmed Al Kuwaiti is a Quality and Accreditation Associate Professor and Senior Consultant. With more than thirty years of overall experience in academic and research. Dr. Ahmed comes with strong expertise in quality of medical education Emphasis in Strategies and methods as Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Evidence based, quality in healthcare. Dr. Ahmed has worked as an academician and researcher. Currently, he serves as the Supervisor General of Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University and the Director of Directorate of Quality and Safety at King Fahd Hospital of the University. He is also an Institutional Reviewer for various Universities as well as a Ranking University Consultant. He established various programs, courses, departments, and functional units in the Institutions / Hospitals. He has more than sixty research publications and had appearance in more than three hundred conferences. Aside from his expertise in quality, Dr. Ahmed is a reviewer and editorial board member of a good number of scholarly, peer - reviewed, research journals. He is interested in teaching and learning in health profession education, accreditation and assessment, and ranking in higher education. Dr. Ahmed is the President and Senior Trustee of the Association of Healthcare Professionals (AIHCP) at United Kingdom (London), Editorial Board member and Associate Editor of four international journals. He has established many organizations and programs in various healthcare organizations and higher educational institutions. He has written and authored seven books, published approximately 50 journals and articles, as well as given several conference presentations. Dr. Ahmed also holds various key professional memberships such as International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), Joint Commission for Healthcare Organizations, American Hospital Association, Saudi Arabia Standardization Organization, and National Association for Healthcare Quality, Association for Medical Education in Europe, American Society for Quality and Association of Health Care Professionals.
