OBJECTIVES
The programme has the aim of investigating the different professional educational profiles from many different points of view: responsibilities, roles, organization, strategies of work, collegiality, professional development and self-professional development, research and projections of the work.
THE PROGRAMME OF THE WEEK WILL BE DEVELOPED THROUGH:
• Encountering the town of Reggio Emilia, its community and its social, cultural and educational context
• Learning about the identity and aims of the Infant Toddler Centers and Preschools
• Revisiting the principles of the educational project including essential elements of the daily life of the Infant Toddler Centers and Preschools
• Lectures by pedagogistas, atelieristas and teachers on the principles of the educational project of the Preschools and Infant-toddler Centers Istituzione of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia
• Presentations of research projects realized inside the Preschools and Infant-toddler Centers
• Visiting the Preschools and Infant Toddler Centers as an example of visible learning
• Visiting the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre and the Documentation and Educational Research Centre
• Participating in working groups and discussions groups

The fee includes:
1. Programme fee

3. Organizing the Forum and helping and support before and during the Forum
4. an induction meeting the day before the start of the program
5. Facilitate the procedures of booking with the approved hotel
6. Secure letters of invitation to obtain a Schengen visa which requires full payment in advance to issue these letters
7. Accommodation for 6 nights in the approved hotel – Single room with breakfast. In case twin room, 30 USD extra to be charged per night.
8. Workshops and lectures to be presented at the Loris Malaguzi International Center
9. Translation from Italian to English for the workshops. Please note that there will be no translation into Arabic for lectures, so it is preferred that the participant has knowledge of English.
10. Field visits to nurseries and kindergartens
11. Transportation to schools whenever needed
12. Touristic trip to the city
13. Participate in discussion groups with participants from the rest of the world
14. 5 meals at the main training premises from Monday to Friday
