Gareth Morewood
Gareth D Morewood is the Educational Advisor for Studio III (www.studio3.org). Previously he has worked for 25 years in U.K. schools; the last 17 of which were as SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) in a large, inclusive secondary school in the North West of England.
Gareth has extensive ‘front-line’ experience supporting schools, families and working directly with young people in the U.K. and abroad, most recently Chile, Dubai, Portugal, Scandinavia and Ireland.
Gareth has a significant body of published works, films and resources.
As part of his role as an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Manchester, Gareth has worked on a range of projects; predominantly to do with the inclusion of young people with complex needs and in supporting autistic learners in their local schools as part of the wider inclusion agenda.

Spectrum Gaming is an online community for autistic young people which has three main intended outcomes: Building Friendships, Increasing Self-Acceptance and Advocacy.
Dr Ruth Moyse
Dr Ruth Moyse is a Visiting Research Fellow at ACoRNS University of Southampton and a Director and Associate at AT-Autism. Ruth is interested in using participatory research and creative methods to understand and inform the education of autistic children and young people, particularly the female experience. Her doctoral research at the University of Reading explored why some adolescent autistic girls stop attending mainstream Secondary schools.
Lynn McCann
Lynn is an Independent Specialist Autism and PDA teacher and consultant, owner of Reachout ASC and author of “How to support pupils with ASC in Primary School” “How to Support students with ASC in Secondary School”, and “Stories that Explain (a book of Social Stories), all published by LDA. Our website Www.reachoutasc.com has all the information you need about our services. Myself and my colleague, Emma Turver, are highly experienced autism specialists and will visit schools and other organisations to provide training, support, advice and resources. We firmly believe that every autistic person is unique and our approach is to get to know each individual so that what we advise is right for them. We work with pupils from EYS through KS1-4 and in further education. We are a centre of excellence for Autism, PDA and Autism in girls.
Hilary Forbes an autism specialist, and autistic, works with us to provide training for supporting Autistic adults in the workplace.
Ruth Kiley a Sensory Integration Practitioner and Occupational Therapist, works with us to carry out sensory assessments and provide sensory programmes and support.
Lynn also writes a blog on our website, which is full of informative articles about autism and writes for various other publications.
She has also presented at the National Autism and Education Shows. Reachout ASC is a content partner with Schudio TV providing high quality online Autism training
