Biography

  • With over 18 years of global experience, I've pioneered educational solutions across continents, from Canada to the Middle East. My passion lies in merging research with practical application, creating transformative educational frameworks, and driving innovation in ed-tech. The foundation for my academic work at University College London (UCL) was the development of "Lean Education." This research-led framework is the foundation of my educational philosophy and my belief that education should be adaptable, robust, and capable of molding learners who are not just knowledgeable but also driven to make the world a better place.

  • He is an Ed Tech Entrepreneur and the co-founder of IIAD Global – an education innovation company that works with schools, colleges, universities to generate alternative streams of revenue through the establishment of satellite campuses and online learning programs. In partnership with a college in January 2018 his company launched a new and innovative 2-year diploma in software development and technology entrepreneurship that brings the real world into the classroom. The program uses a pre-designed digital project-based curriculum to teach college students to be software developers while learn how to launch their own tech companies. More recently, with an education consortium in China he designed a new education framework, that uses a spiral competency-based curriculum, where students are taught advanced thinking processes and the Lean Methodology where learning happens through the synergistic processes of build, measure and learn.
